Has anyone had any experience with Brazilian Cherry (Jabtoba) Wood?

I need to know if anyone has had any experience with Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba) wood, where it was installed in it's natural colour and it darkened after a period of time. If so, how much darker and how long did it take to change colour? Did the space under the furniture also darken? Was the darkening even throughout the area or did it depend heavily on the amount of sunlight coming into the room? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I just visited a client a year after her Brazilian Cherry was installed. The wood had darkened in some areas, & lightened in others...that's part of the unique quality. It really didn't seem to matter about the amount of sunlight, as it was the individual boards that had lightened or darkened.
I hope you aren't disappointed with the results of your floor - it's not a look for everyone, but, to me, the variation in tone & the special aging is a sign of true natural beauty, much like how a great quality leather develops a patina over time that can't be replicated.
