How do I change the default save folder?
When I downlaod things they automatically go to the Temp folder, which means I have to cut and paste them into the fodler I want. How do I make it so that it instantly goes into, say, My Music?
Are you using Internet Explorer or Firefox ?
In IE:
Whenever you click on an item to Download, you will get 2 dialog boxes.
The Front box will give options to "Run", "Save", or "Cancel"
Click Save and you should get a window the gives you location options.
Simply select the folder you want to save in.
In Firefox:
Under the TOOLS, select Options
Under GENERAL/Downloads, you can select "Save file to..." to set a
default location... OR
Choose "Always ask me where to save files".
