Need help with an older movie's title, please!!?
I can't remember much about it. I would say it is at least ten years old and probably older. Its about a girl works as a waitress at her parents diner I believe in one of the New York boroughs. Her high school is trying to put on a play or musical and I believe this is a big deal in the community as it would be the first time there wouldn't be a senior play or something but there are no funds so they have to raise the money and ask businesses to help, like the local lumber yard donates wood for the set. There is also a "bad boy" who I believe plays opposite her in the play and they have a sort of romantic connection. Does anyone remember this movie?
