What wood should I use to make a selfbow?
I have these choices to make a longbow/selfbow:
Oak
Walnut
Pine
Cherry
Maple
Willow
Butternut
Mahogany
Ash
Purpleheart
so I have a lot of choices and I'm not sure what the best one is.
I would choose one that is both strong and flexible. Experiment with each of them, and see which one feels best to you.
