How to remove spotlight bulbs?
I need to replace a bulb in my ceiling light but have tried to take the old one out without success. I have tried pushing, pulling and twisting. It is a Philips Halogen GU10 50 Watt and looking at a picture on the Argos website, it has 2 little round things that slot in. An electrician installed the light so he put the bulbs in the first place.
Push in and turn left, or counterclockwise. What the bulb looks like in the link. They are usually spring loaded and without pushing in as you turn, they won't come out. Putting in a new one is obviously the reverse, push in and turn right or clockwise.
