Need some advice about apex locators?
Hi.I know I gotta be super lucky to find a useful answer,but I'm gonna buy a Dentaport(ApexLocator) tomorrow,since I use my own rotary system and don't need Dentaport(ZX) Endo Handpiece.Does it make sense just to buy a ZX II Apex Locator without its own rotary system!? All I expect from an Apex locator is to check out if I'm filing the right WL while working.It'd be a big help if you have any tips or opinions.Thanks friends.
Thanks Dr Albert,actually I assumed so that It's be more logical to buy a single Apex locator while I'm not gonna use its Endo handpiece,the only problem is that it's kind of hard for me to find your suggested PARKELL since I live in Persia(Iran).Thanks for your concern. May God make every 2nd Mandibular Molar tooth have 2 canals for you!
THERE ARE SEVERAL GOOD ONES ON THE MARKET, THE (MORITA) ROOT ZX IS THE BEST SELLING AND MOST EXPENSIVE.
THE PARKELL MAKES A GOOD LOCATOR FOR LESS THAN HALF THE COST.
HAVE A SEPARATE UNIT FOR APEX LOCATION THAN COMBINED MODEL.
