2007 Jeep Wrangler - 4 Door Soft Top Installation?
I just installed my soft-top and when I engage the header latches (in front) it pulls the swing gate brackets off the frame (in back) with the black swing gate bar installed (and all the windows). I owned a 1999 Shara for several years and I recall the sail panel retainers hooking into the frame, not using these new plastic pieces (swing gate brackets). Perhaps my plastic brackets are slightly deformed and not "snapping" properly on the frame? Or perhaps my soft-top is under too much tension because it is not sitting correctly, even though it looks right?
Has anyone experienced a similar problem when installing their 2007 Wrangler 4-Door Soft-Top for the first time?

P.S. I love my 2007 Jeep even more then my 1999 Shara and I did not think that was possible!
I dont have a answer for you but sounds like there is a issue with this. I have a 2007 2 door and like you I noticed that mine were off today. I had a 2002 and so far I like my 07 better also.
