Newer wall clock runs fine when flat on a table, but loses 5 min. a day hung on a wall. Why?
The clock has a new battery and is not digital
If it has a hand that ticks off the seconds, be sure it's not touching the glass or plastic shield covering it, causing drag. I've had this once and that's what it was. I pulled it off and pushed the hand back a bit so it wouldn't be touching the plastic cover over it and it worked fine after that. It was actually holding back time. LOL!
