I found a very old mignon radio/turntable?

I was cleaning out my grandmas garage, and found a very old radio and turntable unit. It was my grandads, but unfortunately he’s dead, and no-one knows where the radio came from.
It has no real markings, except for the brand mignon, and the numbers 14229.
